This medieval purse is made from silk dupioni and lined with blue cotton. It's closed by a satin ribbon that is threaded through two silver grommets. The top of the bag holds it's shape by wire that has been made into a circle and secured closed. It is then hand sewn in between the lining and the fashion fabric. On the back of the purse is a small metal ring used to either loop a small belt through or to tie the purse to the belt with a ribbon or small leather strap and buckle. On my image I tied it with a matching ribbon. Hand sewn to the front is a peacock feather that has had a metal clamp put around the tip and metal heart charms.
