Siren

This garment was definitely a labor of love. I wanted this idea of a siren who had a mixture of sea inspired clothing and society clothing. She's of a timeless period while at the same time looks period in style. The garment is made from a see through stretch material, silk dupioni and silk chiffon. The bodice side and back see through panels were hand cut out and the see through stretch mesh is sewed in place behind them. There's a lot of fabric and a lot of work that went into this garment and it requires a lot of communication and sizing. For the bodice especially I would like to do a mock up that is sent to the customer to ensure an overall fit as this top definitely requires it.
